Paul Funchess
Paul Funchess is the teaching pastor for Trinity Church. He and his wife Christie have eight children (six girls and two boys). He has served in his current role at the church since its inception in January 2022. Paul holds an MDiv from Shepherd’s Theological Seminary in Cary, NC, and has served as a pastor in various locations since 2005.
Jeremy Kuhn
Jeremy is a lay elder for Trinity Church. He and his wife Stephanie have five children (3 girls and 2 boys) and are grandparents. Jeremy has an MDiv in Christian Ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is one of the founding elders for Trinity Church Spokane Valley.
Dan Ferguson
Dan Ferguson is a lay elder for Trinity Church. He and his wife Melinda have three adult children and six grandchildren. Dan is a graduate from Biola University with a major in education and a minor in Bible. Dan is enjoying retirement after 40 years of teaching. He is still involved at Northwest Christian School coaching baseball and helping with maintenance.

Wagner Floriani
Director of Counseling and Ministry Development
Wagner Floriani oversees the counseling and ministry development of Trinity Church. He is married to Sydney, and they have two wonderful little girls. He holds a Th.M from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is certified by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. He was born and raised in Brazil, and spent about 20 years in Los Angeles before moving to Spokane. He joined the staff of Trinity Church in 2026.
